We're Ponto & Linha
Hello there! My name is Radhika, I'm Ponto & Linha's (Dot & Line) Founder and I almost always speak in the first-person plural because I never create anything alone! When the idea is born, it grows inspired in "Us" - a familiar concept - developed with the contribution of various opinions, inspirations and the client-seller relationship. We are Ponto & Linha!
Poo and Boo are the magnificent duo of this project! Always excited and open to receive the customers in our studio, giving balance, harmony and lots of personality to the brand.
A little bit about me, a dose of cliché...
In addition to the love of designing for happy moments, there are some other things that I equally like: cats (not always but I'd risk to say forever from now on!), the sounds of the sea and the rain falling, a beautiful starry sky, the sound of a child's laughter, a long walk by the nature and, of course, a good cheese board (couldn't miss it)! The passion for design and illustration was born with me and has been growing in each passing day, always with a huge desire to create something new every single day, without end! I am a tireless seeker of inspiration and completely passionate about details.
How was Ponto & Linha born?
The brand was born with simple handmade notebooks at the time I was ending my Design couse at IADE. Pocket notebooks were always present in all of my bags so I could scribble and take notes here and there. I decided, by chance, to start designing my own notebooks and, over time, to turn the idea into a small business, starting by particapating in local fairs. Quickly, with the family growing (nieces, husband ...and cats - of course!) and the desire to have new challenges, a new passion started to grow - designing happy moments!
What's the meaning of the brand name - Ponto & Linha?
Ponto & Linha means Dot & Line. It's from a dot that we draw a line and, in fact, that's how we start and restart any project and everything else in life! It was the name I chose for the first phase of this project more in a crafty context but, even after growing the concept and the products, I chose not to change the brand name because of the idea of evolution and also for the pleasure and will to drawing the line continuously, every single day!
